Last Sunday following their victory over the 2,000m 8 lane Olympic course at Dorney the WJ15 girls raced at Thames Valley Park regatta on the two lane 500m course on the Dreadnought reach of the Thames at the back of Reading Sutton Seeds Business Park. It was also a swap from rowing sweep to sculling.
Thames Valley Park is a great regatta for the juniors with nearly 200 races in the day and a race every 3 minutes.
The WJ15 8X+ beat Guildford in the first round and in the three boat final beat Surbiton and Wimbledon two of the clubs biggest rivals at this age group by half and one and a half lengths.
The J15 4X+ also won, having also won at Reading Amateur the week before.
