Henley Rowing Club has successfully completed an extraordinary 24-hour fundraising challenge, rowing the distance from Henley to Seville - in kilometres, on Concept2 rowing machines and bikes - to raise funds for much needed equipment. Last weekend was the Fours Head raced over the Championship course from Mortlake to Putney a distance of just over 4 miles. Due to the popularity of the event it is now split over three days. This year for the first time the nearly 300 junior crews raced on the Friday. Unfortunately the weather was not kind and for those who had to boat early they had three hours of torrential rain.
