Maidenhead Regatta

The Henley Rowing Club J13 squad competed at the Maidenhead Junior Regatta on Sunday 18th May with a mixed result but overall a good performance. The girls J13 'A' crew lost to a strong crew from Headington school in the semi final by some 2 lengths, however the girls 'B' crew consisting of  Martha Lowe, Auralia Buckingham,

Gabi Haynes, Rory (Sorya) Stafford Davis and cox Laila Webb beat four crews from Lady Eleanor Hollis school  and one crew from Maidenhead rowing club overall in the B division winning the final by some three lengths. The J13 open division mixed crew then went on to win in the final by two and a half lengths in one of the final races of the day. The crew of Tom Leppard, Jasper Chapman,Ben Freeman, Amelie Greenstein and cox Martha Lowe demonstrated  a convincing row to complete the squad performance of the day.
