Following a successful summer campaign, Henley Rowing Club’s boys squad delivered another impressive set of results at the British Rowing Championships, held at the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham from July 18th to 21st.
The squad reached an outstanding six A finals, a remarkable achievement at a national level.
🥇 Standout Performance – J15 4x+ Gold Medal
The highlight of the weekend came from the J15 4x+ crew: Diego Petrosillo, Flynn Burrow, Franco Bigmore-Wallace, Miles Vann, coxed by Emma Groat. Fresh from their gold at the National Schools Regatta in May, the crew aimed to replicate their success. Despite Windsor Boys’ School being tipped by Junior Rowing News as favourites, Henley led from the start and held off a strong late surge from Windsor to claim gold in the A final.
