Head of the River 2015

Henley Rowing Club’s IM1 eight finished a very creditable 54th in a field of 350 in the 2015 Head of the River Race, rowed annually from Mortlake to Putney (the Boat Race course in reverse). The crew comprised senior men and competitive veteran oarsmen, who deserve credit for defying testing conditions and, for some, the passing years, to keep the Henley name in the event. The Head is a great day out and in previous years the Club has entered up to five boats . With our growing membership who are keen to compete, the Club aims to enter more crews for the Head and Veteran’s Head in 2016.
