Aimed at both boys and girls aged 11 – 16.
Rowing is a fantastic sport for young people.
It teaches them many skills that they will carry into adult life such as commitment, teamwork, time-management and many others but most importantly it is lots of fun!
Henley Rowing Club coaches are DBS checked and certified first aiders. Our goal is to ensure participants have a fun and safe introduction to the exciting sport of rowing.
Format of the Course
- 3 terms of structured tuition from professional coaching staff with an emphasis on having fun and building team-working skills while developing confidence around the water.
- The course has 2 sessions a week, one on a Tuesday or Thursday (dependant on preference and availability) from 4:30 – 6:00 pm and one on a Sunday from 1:00 – 2:30 or 2:30 to 4:00 pm (again dependant on preference and availability).
