In response to the Government’s social distancing measures, on 20th March 2020, British Rowing advised clubs on to cease all club-based activity and not reopen until further notice. The club is therefore closed.
This includes access to the boating area, boat houses, clubhouse, gyms and changing rooms. No member or visitors are permitted on the Club premises without permission from the Trustees. The Trustees are managing the premises and site as necessary during this time.
British Rowing has also advised that rowing from private land should cease. The Environment Agency has stopped all non-essential travel for all boats on the water, which includes rowing boats. Please find the link to the relevant information on the BR website below:
