Term two – Twice weekly ninety-minute sessions for 8 weeks on the water with a number of different boat types being used, predominantly bigger boats as you continue to develop your understanding of the sport and progress towards competency in a fine scull.
Term three – Twice weekly ninety-minute sessions for 4 weeks on the water with a focus on smaller boats as you develop greater confidence and ability in a fine scull and crew boats.
There will be a break between terms 1 and 2 due to competitions and 2 and 3 to allow for the busy Henley Royal Regatta period.

After the course
Along the way and following successful completion of the course, you will be introduced to other club members, many of whom have come through the course like yourself, who will help you settle in.
There will be sessions arranged for you to row with other members of the club, mainly at the weekend but quite often during the week too. There are also weekly indoor ergo sessions as well as circuits and weights to join in with.
Recently, some of this year’s cohort competed at a local event, a great achievement so early on in their rowing story.
